If you haven’t tried za’atar seasoning, now is your time to add it into your spice cabinet! I first tried za’atar when I was in culinary school and learning about Middle Eastern cooking. It is an amazing spice commonly found in the Middle East that has spices like sesame seeds, sumac, thyme, oregano, and other items. Typically it is pretty hard to find in stores, but recently Trader Joe’s came out with a za’atar that is great! Definitely try this recipe if you are new to this amazing spice blend.
