The one thing I miss the most since becoming gluten free is Asian take out. So Asian foods use soy sauce, which unfortunately has gluten! I used to get Chinese takeout all the time as my comfort meal so losing that was truly tragic! Now I just make my own gluten free versions of my favorite Asian take outs to curb my cravings. One of my favorites is my ground beef and broccoli!
Key Ingredients & Substitutions:
- Ground Beef – I use 80 / 20 ground beef, but you can use any ground beef or even pork or turkey.
- Broccoli – Use a pound of florets. You can also use cauliflower here.
- Tamari – Tamari is gluten free soy sauce, it tastes exactly the same, so don’t worry about taste being off! I like to get 50% less sodium tamari so it is less salty. You can also use soy sauce here.
