Every Sunday my boyfriend and I have this tradition called stir fry Sunday. It is where we make a clean out the fridge meal into a huge stir fry and watch our favorite tv show while we eat it. It has quickly become our favorite night because of how easy and delicious the stir fry always is.
Stir fry is the perfect way to throw in any vegetable you want to a big pot, along with some meat, rice and soy sauce, and make a delicious one pot meal. This has been our go to for the past months, and is something you will love!
Key Ingredients & Substitutions:
- Ground Beef – We love beef here, but any ground meat works for this recipe.
- Cabbage – I like cabbage here because it is a cheap vegetable and easy to cook. You can also use things like onions, bok choy, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
- Cooked Rice – The best rice for stir fry is one day old short grain cooked rice. But any cooked rice here will work!
- Tamari – I like to use a good gluten free tamari here for the best flavor for the stir fry. I typically use 25% less sodium tamari, but any tamari or soy sauce will work.
