Guacamole

Nothing is better than guacamole and chips! With Cinco de Mayo this past week I made a ton of guac and everybody asked for the recipe. Even though it is simple, the lime juice and spices bring this guac to life and make it the best.

Key Ingredients & Substitutions:

  • Avocados – Try to find some ripe ones!
  • Serrano – Serrano peppers have heat, if you cant take the heat, go with a jalapeno.
  • White Onion – I like white onions for the flavor, but you can also use a red onion.
  • Fresh Lime Juice – NO subs, don’t you dare use jarred lime juice.
  • Cilantro – Omit if you dislike.
  • Chipotle Powder + Cumin – This just adds a little something to the dip that a lot of guac lacks.
