Why buy pickled jalapenos when you can make them at home? Homemade pickles allow you to add flavors like garlic and herbs and play with the pickling liquid. These come together in less than 20 minutes and you will have delicious pickled jalapenos for weeks.
Key Ingredients & Substitutions:
- Jalapenos – You can use any pepper of choice here. Serranos work great here.
- White Vinegar – This is a good neutral vinegar to use when pickling. You can also use white wine vinegar or apple vinegar.
- Garlic – I use this to add flavor to the pickling liquid. You can use any aromatics here!
