Julienned onions are great for caramelized onions and stir frys!

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion

Preparation:

STEP 1.

Cut off both the root side and non root side of the onion. Slice the onion in half and peel off the outer skin and first waxy layer.

STEP 2.

Have the cut side facing you, and making radial cuts, cut 1/8 of an inch slices all the way around. If it get’s too thin at the end, flip it so the flat side is down and that will make it easier. Do this with both sides and separate the layers.
