I have been making my own granola for years. Most store bought granolas are filled with extra sugars and bad oils, but making your own with cleaner ingredients is quite easy!

This recipe was inspired by Purely Elizabeth’s Maple Almond Butter granola, but with simpler ingredients. Not only will you love the flavor of this granola, but also that it costs a fraction of the price as most granolas with this good of ingredients.

  • SERVINGS:  6 cups
  • PREP TIME: 5 Mins
  • ACTIVE TIME: 10-15 Mins
  • TOTAL TIME: 15 Min

I love to have this granola on my morning yogurt and homemade smoothie bowls!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups raw almonds
  • 4 cups gluten free oats
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

Preparation:

STEP 1.

Preheat the oven to 400*F. In a food processor, pulse the almonds until they are small crumbles.

STEP 2.

Add to a mixing bowl with the oats. Add the salt and cinnamon and mix with a spatula.

STEP 3.

Add the maple syrup and coconut oil and mix so it is evenly coated.

STEP 4.

Lay granola flat on a parchment lined sheet tray. Transfer to a 400*F oven and bake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes remove and flip with a spatula. Transfer back to the oven and bake another 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

STEP 5.

Remove from the oven and cool 10 minutes, then store in an ziploc bag.
